    • Cook the pork meat in a pot filled with water. The meat should be tender and the water evaporated.
    • Meanwhile, crush the garlic cloves with a little salt and sugar using a mortar and pestle.
    • Add this mixture to the meat and stir until the pork is golden brown.
    • Then pour in the "ravitoto" and a bowl of water into the pot. Let simmer for about thirty minutes.
    • After the elapsed time, check the cooking of the "ravitoto": if a nice smell emanates from it, your dish is ready, otherwise, add a little water and continue cooking.


    • 500 g of pork meat with a little fat
    • 500 g of ravitoto (pounded cassava leaves)
    • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
